Concern "Belneftekhim" Clarifies Its Rules on Selling Petroleum Products
Washington, D.C., December 19, 2005
Due to frequent requests made by foreign companies to the Belarusian Concern
of Oil and Chemistry "Belneftekhim" on purchase of its petroleum products,
the Embassy would like to notify the interested US companies and
organizations about the following.
Since May 2005 Concern "Belneftekhim" has been selling export volumes of
petroleum products on competitive basis trough the United Trading Site (UTS)
in Internet.
The main operator of the UTS is the Unitary Enterprise "Belarusian Oil Trade
House".
Tenders (auctions) are carried out to sell petroleum products from resources
of such companies of "Belneftekhim" as JSC "NAFTAN", JSC "Mozyr Oil
Refinery", RUE "PA "Belorusneft", UE "Belarusian Oil Trade House" in the
working days of a week. Specifications of petroleum products sold by the
organizations involved in the concern can be found on producers’ web sites:

the corporate web-site of the Concern "Belneftekhim":

order to participate in tenders, as well as to get an acquaintance with
rules of work of the system of electronic tenders the Embassy recommends to

At
the page you can easily make a registration by your own. Please find a link
"registration" on the right top corner of the page and fill in a suggested
form. The account is inactive. To activate the account, a participant should
comply with conditions of participation in an auction, including the signing
of an agreement with the Unitary Enterprise "Belarusian Oil Trade House" and
granting a deposit to its settlement account.
The participant should also submit its initial offers with an indication of
sales requirements, including volume and price for suggested products before
the auction.
The UTS' tender commission has the right to reject carrying out of the
auction before it is held, as well as to make amendments to the notification
about the tender' conditions by placing respective information on UTS'
web-site:
www.bntdtorg.by/belneftekhim.
If
a pretender wins the tender and then avoids signing a protocol on the
tender' results and/or from conclusion of a contract on products supply at a
stated time, the deposit is not subject to return.
Organizations that haven't transferred the deposit to the settlement account
of the Unitary Enterprise "Belarusian Oil Trade House" are not allowed to
participate in tenders.
