Statement by the Embassy of Belarus
In connection with
the statement by the US Department of State press
secretary of 7 March 2008 the Embassy makes it public that the
Ambassador of the United States
to Belarus did attend the meeting of the Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus
with the heads of OSCE
missions held on March 7, 2008
in Minsk.
Mr. Jonathan Moore, Deputy Chief of Mission, also attended the meeting.
These are the facts, and the official Washington is fully
aware of these facts.
The Belarusian side expects the United States Department of
State to disavow the statement by the press secretary.
