Presidency and US State Department Representative Regarding the Incident
with Alexander Kozulin

"It seems that our European and American partners pay a disproportionally
great attention to this incident. As far as I know the main organizer of the
incident has been released.
The Belarusian law enforcement agencies will give an appropriate legal
assessment to this episode which one of the presidential candidates
participated in. The Belarus’ Ministry of interior and Prosecutor’s office
representatives have already expressed their clear position on this issue.
We hope that the EU and the US will wisely restrain in the future from
making statements that bring artificial tension to the Belarusian
presidential election campaign which is being normally and calmly conducted
at the moment."
