International Financial Corporation: We Are Certain Belarus Will Reform
Business Environment
During the
bilateral consultations between the Government of Belarus and the World Bank
Group held in Minsk on January 29-31, an official of the National Bank of
Belarus informed that Belarus has drafted 63 laws and regulations on
improving the business climate, Valery Fadeev, the Senior Counselor of the
International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Belarus told reporters in Minsk
on January 31.
According to the source, when preparing the documents the Government of
Belarus takes into account the international experience, asks for the
opinion of the World Bank experts.
According to Valery Fadeev, the Minsk consultations yielded great results.
“The Belarusian government pursues a long-term strategy aimed at improving
the business climate. We are certain Belarus will reform the business
environment,” he underlined. |
