1. General Details
On 28–30 May 2008, Minsk will play host to the first International Forum of Graduates from the Belarusian (Soviet) Higher Educational Establishments. The forum will involve a plenary with the highest-ranking officials of the country in attendance.
The event has been initiated by the Public Association “International Association of Graduates from Higher Educational Establishments” and supported by the government of Belarus.
The forum will be held to enhance co-operation with foreign citizens who studied in the Belarusian and accordingly Soviet Higher Educational Establishments and with the former Belarusian nationals who moved abroad for permanent residence. A goal of the Forum is to develop or/and sign into effect agreements between Belarusian organizations and foreign state-run or private organizations to launch specific projects that may be instrumental in Belarusian exports of goods and services, Belarusian inward investments.
We would be happy to welcome the following people at the Forum:
- foreign citizens who graduated from the Belarusian (Soviet) higher educational establishments;
- foreign guests and former Belarusian nationals who represent higher educational establishments and organizations that co-operate with Belarusian educational organizations and businesses under bilateral agreements;
- foreign nationals, undergraduates and postgraduates, who study in the Republic of Belarus;
- heads of the Republican bodies of governance, higher educational establishments, businesses.
The organizers hope that the first International Forum of Graduates from the Belarusian (Soviet) Higher Educational Establishments “Education without Frontiers” will promote the prestige of the national system of education and, generally, strengthen the standing of Belarus in the international arena.

28 May 2008, Wednesday
The participants visit an Exhibition of Achievements of the Belarusian economy, higher educational establishments, and tourism facilities.
Opening concert of the first International Forum of Graduates from the Belarusian (Soviet) Higher Educational Establishments “Education without Frontiers”.
29 May 2008, Thursday
Plenary session of the Forum “Education without Frontiers” attended by the highest-ranking officials of the country.
30 May 2008, Friday
Business forum attended by foreign businessmen and representatives of the Belarusian higher educational establishments and exporting companies.
