In the Republic of Belarus Bahco Group AB has its production enterprise JV Bahco Bisov.

JV "Bahco Bisov" (legal successor of JV "Sandvik Bisov"), established in 1991 - is an exclusive producer of industrial bimetal band saws for metal and wood processing on the territory of the CIS countries.

Production program of JV "Bahco Bisov" includes bimetal band saws of different dimension-types. In order to meet the needs of CIS countries enterprises the company produces 10% of the products and the rest is intended for export (mainly for further sale in European market).

Total volume of foreign investments into JV "Bahco Bisov" since middle of 1999 up to present time amounts to approximate 3,5 million US dollars. In 2000-2001 the production volume is constantly modernizing and developing. During 2000 "Bahco Bisov" additionally imported equipment in the amount of 0,7 million US dollars.

Projected annual production in 2001 comes to: 1,4 million meters of bimetal band saws, volume of products sales proceeds comes to 2,4 million US dollars. The company is planning to double the production volumes in 2002.

At present time there are 75 employees at the enterprise.
