Free economic zone "Mogilev"
1.
Geographical location
FEZ "Mogilev" is situated in northeast of
Republic of Belarus, in Mogilev city – the third largest republic
industrial, scientific and cultural center.
It was founded by the Decree of the President of
Republic of Belarus No.66 from 31.01.2002 with the term of functioning
within 30 years.

2. Goals and objectives of FEZ "Mogilev"

Attraction of national and foreign investments
for development of export oriented production.

Provision of favorable conditions for national
economic basic adjustment.

Effective usage of existing production
facilities.
3. Structure of FEZ "Mogilev"
FEZ "Mogilev" is a complex zone including
production, export and free customs areas.
The total area is 242,71 hectares.
It has a point principle of territory location,
that allows reaching the maximum provision of zone territories with
engineering services having sufficient supply of generating capacities.
There are vacant production and storage areas of
machine building, civil and woodworking industry enterprises, motor
transport on the territory of FEZ "Mogilev".
Scientific and production base and availability
of professional people allow ensuring the production of new types of
products in a short period of time.

5.
Tax remissions

Tax remissions allow the resident of FEZ
"Mogilev" to reduce the amount of tax payment up to 40 % of the amount of
taxes paid in Republic of Belarus.

The residents of the FEZ pay the profit tax at
the rate reduced by 50% of the rate, determined by the legislation of
Republic of Belarus.

The profit, received by the residents of FEZ
"Mogilev" from domestic manufacture product sale, is exempt from taxation
for the term of 5 years from its announcement.

Customs duties and taxes are not collected and
economic policy measures are not applied with respect to domestic and
foreign goods bringing in on the territory of Free Economic Zone
"Mogilev".

Customs duties and taxes are not collected and
economic policy measures are not applied with respect to the goods
originated on the territory of Free Economic Zone "Mogilev" and exported
outside Republic of Belarus.

Customs duties and taxes are not collected and
economic policy measures are not applied with respect to the goods
originated on the territory of Free Economic Zone "Mogilev" and belonging
to import substituting goods in accordance with the list approved by the
Government of Republic of Belarus when they are exported to the rest of
the customs territory of Republic of Belarus.

The residents of FEZ pay a limited amount of
taxes.
6.
Transport
The branch of RUE "Belaeronavigatsija", founded
on the base of Mogilev airport is capable of accepting such airplanes as
IL-76, TU-154, and TU-134 etc. There are more than 200 transit airplanes
serviced in the branch responsibility area. There are customs and border
points organized there.
There is a large railway junction situated in
Mogilev. It can dispatch and accept cargo of any type and has storage
warehouses. A series of enterprises, situated within the FEZ have the
facilities to deliver cargo by railway directly to production areas.
Forwarding companies of Mogilev carry out goods
transportation (including heavy and large-sized cargo) on the territory of
Republic of Belarus, CIS countries and foreign countries (Germany, Italy,
France, Holland etc.)
7. Telecommunication
The residents of the FEZ have the opportunity to
use telephone (including mobile), modem and fax communication.
