Rights and Obligations of Foreign Entrepreneurs

Foreign citizens and stateless persons are executing their business activities on the territory of the Republic within the scope of rights granted to citizens of Belarus, unless otherwise is established by the legislation of the Republic of Belarus. In order to execute business one needs to get registered as an entrepreneur at the place of residence and at the local tax inspection.

The fundamentals of the legal regulation of civil rights and obligations of foreign legal entities and individuals are stipulated by Chapter VIII of the Civil Code of the Republic of Belarus. Foreign persons are entitled to execute foreign trade deals and operations connected therewith with Belarusian managing subjects without any special permits and registration.
