Belarus Takes First Place at 2005 Junior Eurovision Song Contest

Belarus won the third Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Hasselt, Belgium.

In front of 8 500 people at the Ethias Arena, Ksenija Sitnik won the contest with the song "We are together".

Ksenija Sitnik was born in May 1995 in the City of Mozyr, Gomel Region, Belarus. She is Taurus. Her favorite school subjects are her Homeland Belarus and Math. In the future Ksenija plans to become a professional singer. Her main hobbies are singing, drawing, dancing and swimming. The song "We are together" dedicated to friendship and peace.

Earlier, Ksenija Sitnik has been awarded with the 1st place at the Shining of Stars, St. Petersburg, Russia, 1st place at Spring Shooting Stars, Novaya Ruda, Poland and Grand-Prix at Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk's 2005, Belarus.
